Sent DV letters 1 an 2 and have gotten back same reply both times. " Thank you for your recent inquiry to Card Holder Services. We are in receipt of your letter dated 07/23/2010 requesting that we investigate information reported on your credit file. After investigation of our records, we found information on you credit card account is accurate as currently reported on your credit file." This was my ex's account that i was unaware of and I'm guessing she forged my signature or there never was one. What is my next step with these jokers

That's not sufficient proof that the debt is yours. They need to send you a lot more than that. Are you sure you sent them a debt validation letter?

Positive was debt validation letters. First letter was standard dv letter and second letter was that they did not provide proper proof and i wanted signature, proof of debt, and complete history. They've reply exact same both times

Have you tried disputing it? That's always the first step, some people skip. At this point, you can send them another letter demanding that they remove it and if they still don't you will probably have to eventually sue them. But, you should definitely dispute it with the CRAs reporting it first. Litigation should be your last option.

I did first step with all 3 cra's and all came back verified.
