Default I.C. Systems Collection Account

Hi,

Thank you for this support forum.

In May I started an account with FCR.com for me and my wife, but only have looked and dealt with Experian so far. I disputed all negatives on both our reports. Her credit score keeps going down since after the disputes, but mine went up.

Now the question...on mine I only had 1 negative from a CA from I.C. Systems for a medical no payment for $45. I recently received a letter from I.C. Systems which says:

"Our files indicate your account is in dispute. Since we haven't had sufficient time to complete our investigation of dispute we are Withdrawing the account. Once verification is received, we will forward a copy to you and resume Collection activity."

I now have no negatives on my account, but I am worried I.C. Systems will come back to hit my Experian report in the near future. Should I contact the OC right now to try to pay the $45?

Thanks for any info,
Chris

Yea, you can call them. Just make sure they call off the CA once it's paid.
