I recently was going over my credit report and came across a collection account for medical bills that I still owe $413 on. Should I pay this account in full or just leave it since from my knowledge...paying the account in full will not help my credit score anyways. I already tried to negotiate a PFD with them over the phone and they wouldnt agree.

How old is the account?

It's not that old. I would probably pay it if I had the money, then wait a month or 2 and dispute it. CAs don't care about accounts that are paid. They will probably not bother to verify it if you dispute it once it's paid.
