Default Account deleted on 1, but not the others

Hello

On advice from this forum i disputed an almost 7 yr old judgement on all 3 of my credit bureau reports. Experian deleted it (i love experian), Transunion asked for an extra proof of ID. I had sent them Soc security card and drivers license but soc. security isn't an ID they consider- they asked me for a utility bill. Equifax wrote to me that "the item has been verified and belongs to you- if you have further questions contact the court that gave the judgement."

1) can i leverage Experians report with Transunion as i am sending them the additional proof of ID.

2) what should i do next with Equifax

Really really appreciate your help. I will wait for your advice before doing anything.

thanks
sumeira

Equifax is usually the easiest to deal with and Experian is usually the hardest. Just dispute it again with Equifax, it will come off eventually.

Default on what grounds- to dispute again

chane

thats comforting to hear. if i do dispute it again with equifax what reason should i give them for re-disputing.

also, with transuion- should i share with them the experian report showing the deleted item- would that work in my favor to get the same item deleted by transunion (and for that matter even equifax).

appreciate your response.

You don't need to give a reason. Just tell them you want to dispute it.

With TU, no, never send them anything like that. They simply don't care what the other CRAs are reporting. Never send them any more information than you need to. Keep it simple.

Wait at least 30 days. I would change things around a little bit.
