Hello, I recently discovered that one of my credit card's was closed because they periodically pull credit reports and review them. Equifax reported that I had a delinquent account but I have never had a delinquent acct and pulled my credit report as proof, sure enough there weren't any derogitory items! I have a letter from the credit card company stating this as proof. What can I do? This is going to lower my credit score as I have had this credit card for a long time and it will lower my balance vs credit available ratio! How can I resolve this? Can I sue equifax? |

Absolutely. The best thing to do is contact a credit attorney. If you have that proof, I would think you'd have a great case, but an attorney could tell you for sure.
