Default What does CA stand for?

Thanks to everyone on this forum, you have really helped me by giving me the tools I need to fix my credit. I sent letters out last week disputing some of the collections on my report. One company sent me a packet of validation for old medical bills. Now I am sending out a "pay for delete" letter and using a blanket form that Trish posted which I cannot locate on here now. on the form she writes...

"2. remittance is payable only to OC and may not be signed over or transferred to (CA name) or any third party collection agency."

what does CA and CO mean?

Read the terminology link below(it's also stickied in the beginner's credit repair section). There you'll find out what those acronyms as well as others mean.

Ditto. The link above has a very extensive list of acronyms and terminologies for credit repair. You can also look around the forum for further explanation for them. The stickies are quite helpful.

At any rate, much luck on your PFD. It can help you a lot so it's good you're taking out time to make the most and read up on it.

Good luck!
