A year and half ago, I had to indefinitely move away from the US for professional reason. I had transferred out all of my money from my bank account in the US and left the account open for no particular reason. What I had forgotten to do was change the address on the bank account. A few weeks ago, upon returning to the US, I realize that I had owed the bank $133 and the debt is now in CA. The bank had also closed my bank account as a result of my non-payment. I checked my credit report and it had killed my credit score. Is this a case which I can dispute and have it removed from my credit report? |

You have the right to dispute anything on your credit report that may be inaccurate, untimely, misleading, incomplete, ambiguous, unverifiable, or unclear (questionable).
