Question free credit report

I have read on a number of posts that a free credit report gives the CRA 45 days to verify, my question is, unless you send a copy with your dispute how would CRA know. Although I do send a copy with mine is there a way around this other than purchasing a CR. Thanks for any help you may have.

The CRAs know because they are the ones sending you the report.
