Hi all I am just wondering when it would be appropriate to apply for a secured credit card. I think this will be my only card option for a while as I am in the mist of filing my bankruptcy (my creditors meeting is in 3 weeks). I didnt want to apply for the card and then have it not count for anything one the bankruptcy is finalized though. So if anyone know when it might be appropriate to get a secured card I would appreciate it! |

You may want to ask your b/k attorney that one. If you have the money saved up, I don't see why you couldn't start trying to build up some credit and get back on track. I've been there - but I also waited til after the b/k was finalized to start re-establishing credit. Good luck! |
