Question help on improving my credit score

My Bankruptcy is almost 10 years old and will coming off my credit report on 11/17/2010 thank you god! Anyways I did a credit score with Experian VantageScore report and it say's my score is 720 how can that be with the BK still on there ? Granted that's the only negative on my report but it's a big one! How close is this to Fico ?

Second, Credit to debt ratio? I only have a couple credit cards open with balances totaling $3100.00 peanuts right ? But my ratio is 50% because my limit is only $6000.00 because I made a huge mistake and have been paying off credit cards and closing them from the $12000.00 it was last year, Does anyone know of a Visa / Mastercard that will giving me a $15.000 limit with that Bankruptcy still on my report ? I'm tried of these stupid small limit's with all there fee's and no perks, I just want 1 Visa/ Mastercard with a high limit and close everything else.

Thanks

Seeing that your b/k is just about 10 years old - it is possible to have a 700 score and above.

I know what you mean about all the other cards, however - larger limit ones can be tough to get. Credit Unions may be a good option and tend to have a lower finance rate. It could be possible elsewhere though considering your score is pretty good.

Not sure how close that score is to Fico or if yours was considered a Fico score or not, but it may not be totally accurate. Best to get an actual Fico score from all bureaus.
