Default Gettin started and will give all the details

Never had a late payment in my life untill 18 months ago. Went way too far in debt paying for fuel at $5 per gallon. Before i knew it I had $40k in cc and loan debt that I had to quit paying. I did all my research and found Nation Wide Debt Settlement. I signed up in March and have paid 4 out of 6 accounts off. I plan on paying the last 2 when I get my taxes back. By the way I wouldnt recommend debt settlement for everyone. I made good money this summer and was able to make some $3k payments here and there. And one of the smallest ones actually went to court before i could get the paid so i do have one judgment because I didnt show. Sounds like their the easiest to get removed tho.

I just opted out last night so I will wait a week or so to mail letters. For now I am only going to do the accounts I have paid off since I dont want to clear an account that the ca could still report on correct? Or if it got deleted would the cra not put it back with new info? One of my cc actually reopened my account and it only shows 120 days late once. Should I remove it too? Im guessing my questions are hard to answer so I will probably just be a guinea pig and answer them for everyone else.

One other thing my mortgage is in a HAMP modification trial and has been delinquent for 9 months now with at least 2 more to go. Any suggestions on that one?

About scores. my ex, eq and tu are 516 521 and 516. My Fico is 501. Which one do I care about the most? I wanna pay for a score monitoring thru this using ex right now but thinking of switching to my fico.
