i also have gotten the same letter does any one know how they resolve this. i gonna kept sending them disputes and if they dont answer back i am off to small clams court.

now guys i have a trick to this which is awesome.

send your disputes to ex cmrrr but on the envolpe put payment enclosed.

if you put payment enclosed on the envolpe they will sign for it LOL

then when you go to small clams court you will have proof that you sent the letter to them.

thats how my friend beat them at there own game.

How would that work? Payment enclosed works with CAs, because they are expecting payment on a debt. What is a CRA expecting payment for?

Maybe a payment for a purchased Credit Report?

I guess that makes sense. If it gets them to sign and it works, I am not opposed to it. I've just never had any problems getting a response from them, but having proof and a paper trail is definitely a good thing.

So would I be able to get the disputes removed because of this letter? I'm having a really hard time disputing with EX and EQ. EX magically verifies everything that TU deletes! I don't get it. I disputed an account that was closed and the only thing my CR says after the dispute is "updated". no verification or anything. TU deleted 17 accounts in 1 month for me but it seems that EQ and EX wont delete anything. This has been a long and nerve racking experience.

I just got letters for EX and EQ in response to a dispute (1-2 punch) that I made. Both CRAs deleted the trade line. EX said that they had no record of the trade line that I was disputing even though I sent in a printed copy of my EX credit report with the item circled. It is no longer on my report so I am willing to let that one go.

What bugs me is that they want me to send more proof of ID and address. The claim is that this is to protect my identity. They are asking for a photo copy of my driver’s license and a bill with my home address. They are asking for a utility bill but would also be kind enough to take a copy of my bank statement for address verification. What next, they keys to my residence and a urine sample?

When confronted with these stall tactics what documents are we really required to send to them so that they will do their jobs?

They do it as a stall tactic. I hate it because of that and because I don't think they need copies of my driver's license and utility bill. They are already collecting tons of information about me without my permission.

Those are the 2 items I send in (driver's license and utility bill.)
