Default Venue/WFCB Account?

Hi Guys -

I have a question about what sort of steps do I take to get rid of a closed account on my equifax credit file. It is from Venue/WFCB. I got the card and then "right away" closed the account. I closed because at venue a playstation 3 is $700. What rip offs right! So there is a 1 day old account on my credit file that is under closed accounts and I do not want this as "im sure it hurts my score, right"

I tried to ask very politely to World Financial Capital Bank and to Venue, but they are not being very helpful on this matter. Are there any steps I can take to help get this removed? Should I do a 1 2 punch, dispute with Credit Agencies, etc etc.

I also would love to have 6 inquiries removed because all of them were denied, but I found out there were some errors in my credit report and had them recently removed which raised my score about 90 points. This is a legit reason to have them removed, correct. Should I just dispute with credit agancies about how there were errors which were corrected.

Thanks in advance

If they say it's a contract or agreement then you should have a cancel within 3 days in most states.

You should have a law in most states that allow you to cancel an account within 72 hrs of the signing, check your consumer laws for any info!!

Thank you so very much.

If I find out this law exists in Wisconsin, should I contact Venue or the Credit Agencies about that law.

Thanks

I would just dispute the account as "not mine" with EQ.
And if the inquiries are with EQ as well, you can dispute those online and they seem to come off fairly easily.
