I'm really not sure about that.... it would be a good idea to call the clerk of the court and ask them. If they sound unsure, I would talk to LL or call around and maybe ask a local atty or call your state bar.

If the CA's name isn't on the court docs, then I would think it's just like any other collection acct and they would not actually be the ones holding the judgment against you.
