Default Dispute documentation.

Hello all, I thought about using a credit repair company and they want $850 retainer plus a pricey monthly fee. I guess I just wanted to make sure my disputes were being done correctly but now that I see what they are asking for I will take my chances and try to work this out myself. The gentleman I spoke with states that there are certain documents the creditor have to provide and if they cant then the items are removed by the bureau and cant be put back on. What documents are they required to produce?
