Default Something fishy with LVNV

Why would LVNV use another CA to collect for them? Maybe LVNV is not licensed in my locality to collect? Can anyone think of any other reasons?

1) an old, charged-off Household account was sold to IDT Carmel.
2) IDT Carmel sold the account to LVNV.
3) LVNV hires NAFS (National Action Financial Services) to collect on their behalf.
4) LVNV, not NAFS, adds a bad TL to all 3 credit bureaus. NAFS is not on my credit - yet.
5) NAFS never responded to DV.

Here is the dunning letter from NAFS:

Experian TL:

Anyone see any violations based on the letter or the TL?

If I do a successful 1/2 punch with LVNV, shouldn't it also be a violation against NAFS since LVNV has clearly hired and given NAFS the responsibility of collecting this debt? Any collection efforts by either LVNV of NAFS on this debt should be a violation because NAFS never responded to the dunning letter, right?

Where it says terms 1month is wrong. You have no terms with them.you have no contract with any of them. It's assigned to them hsbc still owns it

I sent LVNV a letter to validate their debt they report and no response. So I sent the second letter and just got a notice in the mail that they transferred the account to another CA who stated that they receive the information from LVNV and believe it to be correct. I’m going to dispute the validity with the new CA but can LVNV actually do this?
