Default Need An answer ASAP!

i was just told buy a manager at EQ that the investigation doesnt start when you dispute it starts when they verify your identity. is that correct, can they do that?

Now EQ is claiming they never even received my first round of disputes. im so heated

How did you dispute it?That's part of their stall now they'll want more id.EQ is getting real pissy lately.One of the reasons is some cc companies are starting to work with their customers instead of reporting them!

I mailed the letter in and sent it ID and ss several times and now there telling me that they didn't even investigate it they basically thew the letter away ( what the manager said) and that i would have to start over.

Do you have the copies of the first dispute you sent in.You will have to send a second letter strongly worded that by law all disputes have to answered!The law requires that.Go that way and see what happens.

yea i have the letter i first sent and they "stall letter" they sent in reply.

Resend that and the second letter demanding action,on your dispute.If they didn't investigate your dispute they should have notified you as already investigated.Now you can demand it to be removed!
