Default help to delete joint account

Hi friend

I did in 2 years ago joint account with my friend
with discover card of 12000 $ but now have late payment and over limit sometime
right now it $0 but I want to step to be joint
so I call discover and also my friend and they didn't want divided
until he close the account .
what I need to do ?

He needs to close account or pay on time so you can have some credit history.A word of advice it's not wise to have joint accounts with a friend,because you have no control over what they do.They can ruin your credit in a second.
