Question about LVNV on credit report

My TU report has a collection from LVNV for a Sears account. When I looked on my TU report from Sears it showes Paid or Paying as Agreed. LVNV and Sears show same account number.

? 1 - Sould I send a dispute CRA for LVNV ?
? 2 - Sould I 1-2 Punch LVNV ?

Any other way to handle this.

So Sears is being reported as a positive TL?
Are they both showing a balance?

Have you ever even gotten a collection letter from LVNV?
Yeah......I would just dispute it with the CRAs.

I don't recall getting a letter from them. That is the strang thing. If it comes back verified, what sould be done next ?

You could talk to Sears.....let them know that a CA is reporting this acct as a collection. They should be able to fix it. If you want to even do that now.... you can while you're waiting on your dispute results. It may make things go a little faster.
