Good question. I haven't had that happen.....so I'm really not sure. You would think if they won't respond to you that they won't respond to the CRA either.

I do know that if they did not have PP, you could then file suit or at least threaten it since that is a blatant violation.

great, good to know.
Another question. WHAT exactly is a PP? When I m not granted a credit , but did really apply, would that mean there was no PP. Other words Can all Inquiries be removed when there is no account ssociated with them.?

If I understand correctly, any time you put your ss# in to apply for a cc, insurance or anything else, that gives that company pp, therefore you cannot ask for it to be deleted.

Yes, anytime you apply for ANYTHING where they have to pull your credit, you are authorizing them and giving them permissible purpose.
Also, anytime a CA buys or is assigned a debt they automatically have PP and can pull your CR.

One thing that really pisses me off that we can't do much about are acct reviews by current OCs/cc companies. Once you have an acct with them, they can pull your CR anytime they want.
Amex is one that does this a lot. Not sure if they do it randomly or maybe if you are late on a payment........but for whatever reason, they like to do ARs.......and then sometimes they will lower your CL and/or increase your APR depending on what they see. It's BS.
