Who are they reporting to?You could call the oc,or write, with the ca you need to get an agreement also with the oc in writing!

they are reporting to all 3 CRA's (they are different accounts btw). would i have a better chance having the debt recalled from the CA from the OC or should i just try and have to CA work out a deal?

You can try either way,see if the oc will pull it back first.

I would dispute them first (if you haven't already) and then if they are verified, contact them directly via US mail. With the OC, you could call them and discuss the possibility of a PFD or changing it to a positive TL. For the CA, I would send them a DV and see if they can even validate the debt. If they can, then try to arrange a PFD.
