Default Best Credit Repair Agencies

I have a 75 dollar collection on my report that really is not mine. Also, I have a few over 30 days late payments and a recent over 60 days payment. The over 60 days payment was on a card with a zero balance and the annual fee charged and I did not know if had a 49.00 balance because I had paid it off 6 months ago. Anyways, my score has dropped from like 695 to around 600. Any idea on which agencies I should try. I do not have the time to do it by myself so I do not mind paying for help.
Thanks!

Default Any companies from personal experience that you

would recommend? I have heard a lot of bad things about Lexington Law but Chane has them listed number one...I was just curious with some real-life experiences that people have had on here...

I'm totally pro DIY....so I've never tried a CRO myself. Sorry.....can't be any help to you there.

Chane has actually had personal experience with them. Even went to their headquarters and took a tour to see how they operated. He would be the best person to tell you about it........so hopefully he will chime in here and let you know.

Lexington is the best and most experienced. Don't believe everything you read on the Net. They have over 500,000 satisfied customers and every BBB complaint they ever had was taken care of by them. I think that says a lot about them.

I called Lexington today, they seemed very good... I was very close to buying their premium service. But it was odd how they charge a monthly charge.
So I checked them out, even checked out the BBB website. They have NO RATING with the Better Business Bureau and have been a Member for 6 years (meaning something fishy is going on). From all the complaints I see on the internet, I would not use Lexington.
Can anyone give me a positive experience they had with Lexington?

That's weird. Where did you see that?

I get emails all the time from satisfied customers thanking me for referring them to Lexington.

There are also tons of testimonials on their site, but I guess if a person doesn't trust them, they won't believe the testimonials anyway. They also won't believe that they have helped over 500,000 clients in 18 years.

I saw it from the only credible place to get Better Bureau information.
BBB.ORG
Here is how many complaints they have gotten in the last 36 months (holy S*it thats a lot for 36 months) Remember this is only the people that complained to the better business bureau... I found numerous write ups with complaints about Lexington elsewhere also.

BBB processed a total of 286 complaints about Lexington Law Firm in the last 36 months, our standard reporting period. Of the total of 286 complaints closed in 36 months, 90 were closed in the last year.

These complaints concerned :
6 regarding Advertising Issues
95 regarding Billing or Collection Issues
15 regarding Contract Issues
24 regarding Customer Service Issues
3 regarding Delivery Issues
26 regarding Guarantee or Warranty Issues
1 regarding Product Issues
73 regarding Refund or Exchange Issues
3 regarding Repair Issues
9 regarding Sales Practice Issues
31 regarding Service Issues

I would not let this company even look at my credit report!
I would do it yourself!!!

Some peoples credit are so bad that nobody can help them. One thing they don't guarantee they can clear. Also remember some people complain about everything, some people may of had problems. Some people may have expected more then the service provided.

You missed this part. It was right in the area you copied and pasted from. Try to be as fair as possible.

In my opinion, that is a perfect record. It's not whether you have problems or issues in life, it's how you handle them. They have handled each and every single complaint they have had about them in the last 3 years. Not very many companies will do that.

I have noticed that people are quick to complain in life, not so quick in coming back to their complaint and telling others how it was fixed. That's why there is plenty of trash about them online. I haven't seen one person come back and say, "they handled the situation". It's like they "forget" to come back and correct their story...when clearly every single complaint to the BBB was handled.

Instead of complaining to the BBB, they should have complained to Lexington Law first. Of course, that is just common sense and not how a lot of people operate.
