On the inquiries:
The wheelcity one- We applied for a car loan of which we were accepted we are just waiting for a car to come in that we want (they are a credit building type company, really good reputation).

We applied for a home mortgage in January and we were rejected right away so I don't know why Credco is showing for March. That is not even the company we went through. As for the rest, I have no idea what those are from.

Wow, if you really aren't sure who those other creditors are......then you should dispute the inquiries. One thing you can do that may even make more of an impact is send the companies a non PP letter.

Credco is popular company that alot of mortgage professionals use to run your reports. I have used two different mortgage companies and they both used credco. Not sure why it would have a March date if you applied in January but if you could always call up the mortgage company and ask them.

Hmm.....if this is an OC it may be a little tougher to get off.
You will need to dispute it first. Dispute ANY inaccuracies you see (date, acct type, if it was a joint acct....ANYTHING). If it is an installment acct, I'm assuming it was something you financed with fixed regular payments right? Just asking so that you can make sure those things being report are correct.
It definitely should say paid........although that really does your credit score no good.......but at least that's an inaccuracy you can challenge.
Or you can be vague as I stated in another post and just say there are multiple inaccuracies and to please verify all info.

Depending on how your results turn out will determine your next step after that........so go ahead and dispute first and then keep us updated so we can move on.

p.s. Don't forget to opt out and update/delete all personal info before doing ANY disputes.

Thanks Trish! I guess I have a few avenues to take I did opt out a few days ago. What do you mean as far as update/delete personal information?

You want to make sure and remove ANY and AS MUCH personal info as you can.
It will help when you dispute accts later on. The CRAs will cross check information with the CAs. The less info they have to cross check, the better.

The personal information on your CRs is not necessary at all. The ONLY things that need to be on there is a current address, your name (no variations if possible) and your SS#. No previous addys, no employment info, no phone numbers.... So you always want to try and get as many things as possible deleted.
You can do this by disputing all of your personal info by mail........OR if you want to do it quickly you can actually call them and it goes pretty quickly that way (that is really about the ONLY time I would advise calling a CRA though).
