Default Whats next? Declined goodwill letters.

I just received responses from the 2 goodwill letters. They both were declined. Both parties said the reviewed the accounts and what they reported was accurate. And they both said they refuse to eenivw the lates. What should I do now?

Have you tried sending them to someone in upper mgmt? A president or CEO?
Is it a really good goodwill letter (a.k.a. a sob story mixed with some begging)?

It is possible that a gw letter will not work. It is considered a long shot but it does actually work sometimes.
The other thing (if gw doesn't work) is Planet Feedback. They will actually get in touch with the "higher ups" and it seems to get their attention.
Then if that doesn't work, you can try disputing the lates.

Hope that helps.... Good luck.

Yes. They were really good goodwill letters. I just sent them to the address on my cr. I mean if I had read them, I would have deleated the lates immediately. How do I get info for the people in upper management like the CEO or President? If anyone have that info, please post it. The 2 companies are: Target National Bank, and Student Loan Service Center.
Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!

Ok, for Target, this is what I found:
Company Profile: Target Corporation
The address in the top left is their corporate HQ and then there are some big wig names down a bit and on the right.

Hmm...now on SLSC.....can you tell me the address on your CR? This one is a little tougher. Can't find a company profile at all........and when I looked around on CB, someone mentioned that they were now AES (american educational services) which is in Harrison, PA.
So, I'm just wondering how old the student loan is and if they've possibly been bought out by another company.

If so, I do have info on AES......but wanted to check with you first.

Oh, p.s. if you go to jigsaw.com.......sometimes they can be quite helpful with finding corporate offices and administration for most big companies.

Thanks Trish. You are soooo helpful and knowledgeable. I wish I can hire you to repair my credit. The company is still in business. But the address on my cr is different from the one on the website. The address on my report is:
Student Loan Service Center
1 University Place
Rennselaer NY 12144

But the website has the following addresses:
For correspondences:

Student Loan Service Center
5 University place
Rennselaer NY 12144

For billing payments and coupons:
PO Box 610
Albany NY 12201

Thanks again for all your help

Well, I looked a little more and from what I can gather......lates on SLs are VERY hard to get removed. Some people are saying it's next to impossible.

Supposedly they are federally required to report them.
I would say really all you can do is maybe try a couple more gw letters.........or gw calls. Then maybe try disputing them.

Sorry I couldn't be more help on that one.
