Question How to add past positive items to your CRs?

I have an auto loan from 3 years ago that I paid off last year. The loan is only being reported by one CB. How do I add this to the other 2 CB's? I no longer have the paperwork for the loan.

Unfortunately, sometimes creditors only report to one or two CRAs. They may only be contracted with one CRA.

One thing you can try is just calling up the creditor and ask them if there is any way they can report to the other two. It never hurts to ask.

Yea, unfortunately, it costs the creditors to report to the CRAs, so they usually won't.

There is usually not much one can do to get the credit bureaus to report something that is not voluntarily reported by one of their customers.

Thanks for the replies.

I thought I read somewhere that you could submit trade accounts on your own to the CB's like utilities and such. Maybe I was just dreaming I read that.

Yea, you can definitely submit them...that doesn't mean they will report them. I've never heard of a case where they reported tradelines submitted to them. They just have no interest in it - it's not profitable for them.
