I just spoke with ACA international...... I sent an email asking what the status of the dispute is (I'm impatient. lol)

So they told me that since I replied back within the 30 days.......that the complaint status remains unsolved and that they have accepted the complaint for further investigation. So they have notified the CA and are requesting a Formal Answer from them. They have 30 days......so I should know something by the end of this month!

Just reeeeeeeally curious to see how this turns out.

OMG this CA is ridiculous.
I just got a letter yesterday from ACA on their response to my last email. This time it has to be written out formally.
This CA is fighting me tooth and nail on these collections. The letter is SO long, there is no way I can post it but they are bringing out every detail and every conversation........OY.

The thing is.......this is due to fall off of my reports in July of THIS YEAR. I'm just surprised they are being this much of a PITA over two 7 year old debts.

I will be back to post more details later.

Yeah chase brought out a cancelled check from 2003.What does that prove i made a payment in 2003.Or did i?That does not tell the history of that account it just shows i made a payment. That's why on prove of debt you should ask for every call you made including the wav files your entitled to that, and people don't ask for them.

Well, they continued to fight me..... then in July they fell off.
So my complaints did not help me get these off any sooner.

I do, however, have another small victory to tell you guys about... I am still in the process (just filed complaints last Friday) but the CA already deleted it from all 3 reports!
I will try to come back and explain later when I have more time.

I SOOOOO wish I had enough time in one sitting to go over the complaints I'm doing right now.
I know I mentioned before that they already deleted the TL from my reports........but they got me started.... I was ready to drop it....and they had to push it.

ANYWAY.... ACA just got back to me with the CA's (actually president of the CA's) response and I just sent back MY response to their letter. It's getting good. I had tons of proof and just faxed over documents and emailed 7 caller id photos AND 2 recorded telephone conversations to prove them wrong. HA.

I can't wait to see the CAs response to this.

Thanks!
Several years ago, I had a CA come after me for a magazine subscription that I had never ordered. A friend of mine heard me arguing with them on the phone at work. She helped me file a complaint with the BBB. Apparently it worked because that was the last I heard of them.
