Default How to Remove Equifax Inquiries

I found this on another board and it seems to have helped many people remove dozens of inquires from their EQ Credit Report.

https://www.ai.equifax.com/CreditInv...pute_Login.jsp
  1. Just enter your Zip code and click "submit"
  2. From that page click "next" at the bottom
  3. Then you can click "click here" to initiate an investigation
  4. As for the company name, you can put the name of the company who did the Inquiry.
  5. In the account # field, for example, put "Inquiry 07/09/2008"

It may not work for you if you have to deal with CSC.

I am confident it will work if you don't. Good Luck!

Has anyone tried this? It's fairly easy to get them removed by disputing them with a letter, but if it can be done online it would be nice to know. Generally we don't advocate making any disputes online because you'll usually get better results by sending a letter, but there are always exceptions.

I tried and this does not work. Is it best to try to dispute everything with a letter instead of online. Online does not work for me at all!!!

Yea, I agree. I think it's best to write a letter. It gives you the upper hand instead of vice versa. What I mean is: You can dispute how you want to, you don't have to fill out their form and dispute how they want you to.
