Default the fight begins

I recently ordered all three of my credit reports. For the most part they all report the same accounts. I am about to begin the battle of the letters to see if I can get the inquiries and 4 charge off/included in bankruptcy accounts off of my report as well as the bankruptcy. I have the letters written and ready to send but I have found some contradicting information on the internet as to the best way to go about it.

Some sites say to send it certified mail so you get a receipt and have a paper trail. Others say it pisses the CRA's off. Some sites say to include a copy of your credit report and any other information you have to support your side. Some say not to send anything, leave the burden of proof to the CRA's. Some sites say to send a photocopy of your license and social security card. Some say not to because somebody could intercept it and steal your identity.

Basically,
1. Should I send the letters certified?
2. Should I include a copy of my credit report?
3. Should I send a copy of my license and social security card?
4. Should I dispute every negative item at once or one at a time?

Thanks in advance.

Default The Fight begins..............go the distance

Madbomber,

Let me tell you about my experience thus far. It has been 2 months since I began my credit repair and YES I have had success. I have had 3 collection agencies fall off and 2 charge offs. That being said here is where I am having some problems:

Inquiries- Transunion is dragging thier feet

Charge offs and collection agencies- Experian seems IMPOSSIBLE. They don't even give you a address to send your disputes to. You have to search for it.

As for certified mail I have ONLY done it with the collection agencies and original creditors. Yes, you can dispute the vaildity of the accounts with the CCA and creditor as well as the CRA's. And like your name keep "bombing" them.

Unfortunately Experian has a BUNCH of PO boxes and good luck finding the physical address-LOL! So with a PO box don't even try to send it certified signed reciept. No one will be there to sign for it BUT it will get there. So here is the PO box from my mailing they sent me:

Experian
PO Box 9701
Allen TX 75013

Good luck!

Kyle
