Default Unsecured Credit Card with Bad Credit?

Where is the best place for someone with bad credit to get an unsecured credit card to help re-establish credit?

Well, none of them are "good". It depends on just how bad your credit is. There is Total Visa, Premier Mastercard, Aspire. Your best bet though, for a reputable company, is to save up $100+ and go to your bank, or any bank, deposit it into a special account. They will then issue you a credit card with that amount as the limit. You use it like a normal card and in 6-12 months you get that money back and the credit card becomes unsecured. This will help build your credit, if you make payments every month on time, no matter what. Good luck. Bad credit can be a heavy cross to bear, but if you work hard, you can improve your score in a year or two, by enough to qualify for much better rates.

Usually Discover and Capital One are easier to get approved for small amounts on credit cards. But to help re-establish credit, putting a deposit of $300 to get a secured credit card is the easiest way to go.
