Start building my credit

What's the best way to start building my credit history? I have no credit history and that's why I always get rejected by credit companys.

You need to get a loan under your name. You could have someone co-sign for you and make sure they are reporting it under your name to the CRAs.

You could ask your bank or credit union to give you a starter credit card with a low limit. Tell them you want to build your credit history. They may want you to have some money in a savings account to cover payments, but they will almost always give you a card with a $300-500 limit.

You could also be added as an authorized user to someone who has good credit history. This is probably the fastest way to establish a good tradeline.

their are credit cards out there that allow you to put money in an account. its not a bank card its a credit card. you use that money and continue to put money in the account. After awhile your credit will build and then you will be able to get a real credit card. Use it for gas or little things and make on time in full payments.
