Default First time homebuyer

Could my fiancee with a Experian score of 685 get a good first time home buyers rate? I'm not sure what his other scores are and hes never owned a home before the one we currently have is in my name only so we were thinking of getting the next mortage in his name and then putting me on in a few years when my score is back up. I have a 610 with experian..are his chances good ya think?

I'd say his chances are good. 685 is a nice score. Some loan programs require at least a 650, so he's a little ahead of the curve. Good luck!
