Default Experian credit score advice

I have just got my national credit score from experain. Its only 540 which is very poor.I have only been living in the UK for a year and in this time have never defaulted or missed a payment. I have two bank accounts, a contract phone and also a virgin communications package. All of these are paid upto date and on time so why is my score so low? and Ideas on how to improve it? Thanks

Default What is actually reporting?

What you have mentioned probably do not report to the credit bureaus. Start with credit builder credit cards. They will stand out. You just have to look. If not you may have to use a secured credit card issued by a bank that reports the the credit bureaus.
