Default Verizon Wireless Early Termination Fee

Several years ago my brother couldn't qualify for a phone, so they called me up and asked if he could be put on my account. He cancelled early and they charged me an early termination fee (this was before they let people know that there was a fee.)

I disputed with them and told them that this was not my phone and that it should be handeld by my bro. However, I never signed a contract for him, (just a phone call from the local store.)

So my question is: What should I do about getting it off my credit report? How would I go about disputing it? Letter? Where do I get a letter like that?

Send Verizon Wireless a debt validation letter and dispute it with the credit bureaus that are reporting it.
