Unhappy Not sure what to do!!!

I am realy new to this whole thing and I have lots of questions. First off I am so glad I found out about this site. Well, I went to a mortgage compsny to see about buying a house, (I am so tired of renting), and they ran a credit check on me, (no problem), but when it came back a reposession that I had in 2001 on my Trailer house is showing up three times, and a vehicle repo is also showing three times. There are a few things that I know are paid off and I have the reciepts, but it shows as a negative on my report. Needless to say they told me they would not be able to help me but they did give me a phone # of someone to help me restore my credit, but for $850.00. Being recently divorced I can not affors to pay someone to do this for me. How come it is showing like that on my credit report? Can anyone tell me or help me to understand? Any help is greatly greatly appreciated.

Brenda, you need to obtain copies of all three of your credit reports. Hand write letters to each of them disputing all negative accounts. This should fix the errors. You might have to do this several times. Once you have done that find a good mortgage broker to help you out.
