I sent Midland Credit Mgmt a DV mid Dec. they signed for it 12/19. The account is past SOL as of 8/11. Well yesterday they put a 120 day late on for last Oct/11. First, how can I be 120 days on something this old? Will that effect my score? Thx, Bud |

What's the original date of when they started to report that on your credit? If it's past SOL date, dispute with the CR! State it's past 7 years.

Not possible. You dont have an "account" with a debt collector, and thus no due date upon which to base any level of "delinquency." Debt collectors dont even have reporting codes for monthly delinquencies. If you dig into the issue, I am sure that you will find that the monthly delinquency was based on reporting done by the OC, not the debt collector. Commericial credit reports are often formatted in a way that mixes reporting done by various parties under incorrect heading categories, so the CR is not an accurate reflection of who reported what. |
