Afni pfd :(

I have a bill that AFNI owns, I have already contacted the original creditor, MCI and they have a 0 balance and said they cannot collect on the account. I have emailed and called AFNI about 3 times each now, offering a PFD in full in return for deletion of the account. It is only $98. I have disputed it on my credit report twice now. I have sent for validation and they sent me a copy of the original bill with my name on it from the original creditor.

What can I do now to get this off my report? The SOL runs out next year but it's supposed to stay on my report until 2013 and we really want to buy a house next year. Please help what should I do.

Oh yeah, AFNI says that they are not allowed to do pay for delete but I have seen this work on other forums

Well I just wanted to update and maybe it can help someone else, even though no one here has helped me. I filed a report with the BBB and AFNI just responded today that they are deleting the account.
