Default Allied Credit Services Collection

I have a collection account on my report from 2007. It was from OC Desert Sun tanning. Original Balance $103. I know what the bill is from but the problem is that I paid it in full with the OC in a matter of a couple of days after it was due, I dont understand how it even made it into collections. The Desert Sun location where I owed and paid has now been bought by Seattle suntan. I emailed Desert Sun today but am unsure who to go through to get this issue resolved, do I go through Desert Sun, Seattle Suntan or the CA? And what do I do? I have a feeling I'm just going to get the run around from all 3.

You can try to call the OC. They might be able to contact the CA and tell them to remove it. But, you will probably have to dispute it with the CRAs.
