 Collection agency problem
Got a letter from Williams and Fudge stating that I owe $1400 to a university that I attended in 2004. I sent a cease and desist and also a debt validation letter. To my suprise, they sent me an invoice from the university that was recently generated showing that I owe the debt. What do I do now? The debt does not show up on my credit report yet.....but it's got me worried. Thanks in advance for the help!  |

If you owe it, you may want to pay it before it makes it to your credit report. If it does make it to your credit report, do a pay for delete. If you don't owe it, let them know that you don't and don't pay it.
