Default Can I pay Doctor directly or CA?

I have a very small bill w/ a doctor and need to see the doctor now, but they are refusing. They said I need to pay the CA the amount we owe and then they'll "think" about seeing me. They claim I cannot "legally" pay them directly anymore. The problem is I've spoken to the CA and asked them to send me verification on the account...they have not sent anything and never did call me again.

What to do?

Default solved it!

Got 'er done myself...I told them the truth...about how their CA has violated my rights and if I have to work through them I will do so through my attorney. I gave her his name and number if she wanted to call him personally.

From then she was very kind and just said "okay, I'll take the payment now over the phone."

Problem solved.
