 5 month old apartment collection account
I found out 2 weeks ago that i have a collection account on my credit report for about $900. This is for an apartment I stayed in while in college. I tried stating the issue to the apartment management..but they said they cant help now because it has been sent to a collection agency. My credit score is around 657 now. What should I do right now? Should I just pay off the account completely? Any tips?
