Yes, I used insert B. There is a long response letter that basically says they received my letter and they sent me my records to show me that they are on my credit because they are unpaid balances. Nothing about not submitting on time, validating, nothing! And I got my Experian credit report yesterday and there are like…8 accounts on there with CMRE from these people! (hospital)

Should I just send a copy of my report and highlight what reports wrong and that they need to resubmit? Also I work in the health field and I found out the other day, a bill can be submitted to Medi-cal up to 2 years after the date of service. So they had plenty of time to do this!

Hmm....ok.
When I did this it was with insert a........so let me do a little bit of research and see what I can find out.
You will need to send them a follow up letter. I will get back to you shortly on this.

Can you get the above in red in writing from the insurance company?
Talk to Medi-cal. See if you can get them to write a letter stating insurance was not filed in a timely manner (and also that the OC has 2 years would be a huge plus).
Then you can send that to the hospital to show them that you are not responsible.

Are these the accts you were doing the HIPAA method with? The ones that weren't submitted to insurance in a timely manner?

YES. and it turned into them sending me my medical records and showing them that they were incorrect. so to get rid of the correct ones, she sent me the application for charity care.:p
