need help - collection reporting past due

i have a collection company showing two account ( bad checks), they have been validated but are showing 180 days past dew. i never paid started paying them, is this a violation of my right in any way and what can i do zenith acquistion is the company???? need help

What do you mean by validated? Did they provide you with copies of the checks?

Yes, a CA reporting an acct "past due" is a violation. You can't be past due unless you made payment arrangements with them. It's a tactic they use to drop your score even more.

Have you tried disputing it with the CRAs?

I already tried disputing with cra, didnt get anywhere with them, what else can i do??? I havent paid started paying,either....this account is from 05...

Then you should send the CA a DV letter.

See if they can provide proper proof of the debt first. You could even try a 1 2 punch if you would like.
