Default Collection Agency didn't respond within 30 days

Hi,
I send the DV letter to the collection agency demanding them to proof the debt they said I owe. It has been more 40 days. Can I send the letter to the three credit bureaus asking them to delete this account from my credit reports since the collection agency didn't respond within the time frame.
Thank you for your advise.
Hope

I am in the same boat as you but the Ca's have another week but since they have sent me papers requesting documents and requesting payment I really doubt they do anything but sit on there butts laughing at my letter! I was told to send them a second DV letter and go from there with the fact they are in violation! Hope I helped a little! Good Luck

If they ask for info they don't have much info on you. They have to prove they own it,not you.

CA completely ignore me. They don't send me anything. I checked my credit reports today and found that the CA reports that this debt is verified as of July 2009. How is possible? I never receive any proof from them. I know they're violating my right under the federal law. What should I do? I'm thinking about sending letter to the three credit bureaus with the letter I sent to the CA and tell them that the CA never send me anything.

I'm so hopeless and mad at this CA. I need your advise.
Thank you,
Hope007

Default I want to sue the CA

I want to sue the CA for reporting activity with three credit bureaus but not sending me any proof that the debt is mine. Can I go ahead and sue them or I need to send the 2nd DV?
Thank you

This is quite typical of CAs.

You must be very careful before suing anyone. Be aware of unintended consequences. If you are really thinking about it, hire an attorney who really knows this stuff.

Honestly, I wish more people would sue CAs and CRAs. It would benefit everyone. They don't play by the rules and it's bullshit.

I agree! But maybe sending another Dv to which will probably get the same response (NOTHING) would help to build a better case! I am giving Midland until the 10th of August before taking action (2nd Dv letter).

I sent the 2nd dv to CA. I gave them 15 days to respond (originally I wanted to sue the CA!). If the didn't respond but still reporting to three bureaus as verified. Can I sent the letter to the three bureaus telling them that the CA never respond to me and how they verified this debts is mine with them? What are the best actions? Your recommendations would help many people who are on the same boats as me.
Thank you.
Hope
