Default I have legitimate medical collections....help

OK, so I had a broken leg 2 years ago and am still in a law suit with the bar. The hospital and surgeons would not work with my attorney and sign a lien against the case to wait for pmt. They sent me to collections for $32,000 instead. I have 4 collections.... When I settle or win in court, they will get paid. Until then, they have tanked my score and I want to buy a house.

So how do I get these fools off of my credit in the mean time? Will the 1-2 punch work on them? Do they have to validate certain things they may not be able to? I was extremely high on morphine when they had me sign the paper work at the hospital..... Does that count?

I would send the hospital a letter requesting your medical records that they say that you are deficient on. Then once you receive the records, look over them carefully. Then I would contact the person who sent you the medical records and ask if they offer what is called “Charity care” then go from there.

I just got a letter yesterday to send the CA’s for over $3,500 worth of medical bills that the hospital wiped clean.

Where do you reside? What is the name of the hospital?

You could even just skip the first step and call and ask to talk to someone in their financial or billing department. ask if they offer charity care.
