Default question on a judgment

I have a two part question....
first can a collection agency file judgment twice on the same debt?

also can i dispute a debt that this debt? i didn't at the time of the first judgment(it was prob ten yrs ago i was young and stupid)

Only way that could happen is if the first judgment is dismissed w/o prejudice......meaning they can try to sue you again later on.

Ok, need a little more info in order to answer this question.
How old is this judgment?
What state are you in?(in some states judgements can only be on your record for 10 years and then they either get dropped or renewed)
Were you served properly? (or how were you served)
What do you mean by dispute?......if you mean dispute with the CRAs, then yes, you can do that. If you are talking about disputing with the courts......that's a different and slightly more complicated issue.
