Default how much time to respond

How long does it usually take for a collection agency to respond to your letter, I sent some about a month back and I haven’t heard anything from them, I think im going to ask to Lexington to deal with them cause they are not responding to me and I don’t want to call them. The letters that sent were letter stating that I would pay if the sign the letter and return it to me stating that they would delete the debt from my credit report but so far I haven’t heart anything.

If they haven't responded, then send them a 2nd letter. They CANNOT continue collection activity until they provide proper validation.

AND if this is being reported on your CR, then it would be a good idea to dispute it with the CRAs as well.
They can't verify with the CRAs until they provide you with proof that you owe the debt (or if they do, they are in violation)

Trish I have an order from the court for W&A to validate the debt. Do you mean if I ask the CRA's to validate it on my CR they cannot until they send me the info?

Hmmm.........when the courts get involved, that may change things.

BUT, the rule is.....that if you request validation, by law, they cannot continue ANY collection activity until you are shown proper proof that the debt is yours (proper meaning no generic printout stating you owe the money - you need to see paperwork from the OC, a siggy, itemized charges, etc). If you dispute with the CRAs, the CRAs then ask the CA for verification of the TL being reported. The CA can't verify (until they validate with you) because it would be considered collection activity.

I hope that made sense.
