Absolutely. Have you tried to dispute them?

You could also hire a law firm to do it for you.

Hi. Yes, I have disputed it online with the credit bureaus and by letter. They did not respond to any of my letters. The credit bureaus claim that the creditor verified it, but they never responded to any of my letters, so what do I do now?

I have turned them in to the attorney generals office but I have heard nothing from them so far. What do I do now? Also Arrow Financial has been working on a validation for me since August of 08? Also Arrow Financial is listed as assignee and purchaser of this charge off. Arrow cannot validate the debt so does this mean that the original creditor has to remove it?

Shanna, please don't type in all caps. It's considered shouting and it's hard on the eyes. I fixed it for you.

You should never dispute online. Ask the CRAs to provide you with their method of verification by asking for a PR (procedural request).

As far as the validation, CAs have have 30 days to validate. If they don't respond with in that time, they must remove it from your credit report. You have them on a violation if you have kept records of it. Let them know and demand that they remove it immediately so that you don't have to take this any further by seeking damages, blah blah.

No, it does not mean that the OC has to remove it.

Hi Chane! sorry about the all caps! lol its a bad habit of mine. Yesterday I sent off the letters to the three credit b's asking them how did they validate/verify, when I had written the creditor myself and they did not respond, so hopefully they will get it removed for me, or do I need to write back to the creditors and demand that they remove it?

Thanks!
Shanna

I would probably just wait to see if they get removed. It wouldn't hurt to also write the creditors, but it might not be necessary.
