Credit card company does not exist
Hello,
I need some advice. AI had a credit card with Clout Visa 4 years ago and my account went to collections. The company has disappeared and then a law firm called Eltman and Eltman & Cooper LC was trying to contact me about the account then it was sold to Niagara Credit Solutions INC but they have not reported anything on my credit report. Am i obligated to pay them???? How can i have Clout Visa deleted since i can not contact them? Brandi

Brandi,
Dispute it with the credit bureaus. They will try to contact Clout and when Clout can't verify (because they don't exist anymore) they will have to remove it from your credit report.
