 Validation letters for an old account?
An account that is 3 years old - I recently disputed it and it came back verified. Is there a time frame in which you are able to ask for validation? As I said, this collection is 3 years old - unpaid. Can I now send them a validation letter? If so, what happens at the end of the 30 day they are given to prove debt if I get no response? Can I then have it deleted from credit report?
