Under what provision of law can you compel, without a section 605(c) letter, cessation of phone calls by a debt collector? Such calls are their job, and their right, unless specifically precluded by a section 605(c) demand.

Section 605(c) letters don't apply to OCs. If a consumer has delinquent debt with a creditor, I know of no provision of law that precludes them from pursuing its payment. Certainly not simply because you tell them to leave you alone.
